On Saturday March 21 2026, Brothers Rod and Dmitry kicked off the volunteering season by participating in a stream cleanup organized by CRC Watersheds.

Rod focused on repairing stakes and fencing for the saplings – some of which we planted last fall – while Dmitry set out to collect trash, determined to find something BIG… and he succeeded.

Thanks to a great team effort, the work was completed quickly, and by 10:30 AM the Brothers headed out in good spirits.

But the day didn’t end there. Brother Rod went the extra mile (0.3 miles, to be exact) and replaced the insect screen on one of the Lodge windows.
